I really need to keep my mouth shut

So, all of our… ehrm, ‘fans’ have managed to decode what kind of game we’re going for here. A combination pipe dream, publicity stunt, and guaranteed A++ grade for my programming class. (Go check the last post’s comments if you really want to know what it is.)

All I really have to say is: expect to see it in 2013.

…why can’t I keep my mouth shut?!

*Slow Clap*

Congratulations to Bubba and Reptilenut77, who have pretty much nailed the “XENECSLENNUT” code. It’s actually “Tunnel Scene X” spelled backwards.

Now the question is: “Can you tell what game we’re making/cloning?”
And it’s not actually CALLED Tunnel Scene X.

MUST. DUCT-TAPE. MOUTH.

Looks like my old enemy, “The urge to spoil everything“, has come back to haunt me. Instead of giving away everything outright, I’ll give you an incredibly obscure hint that will probably only make sense once the project is finished.
Are you ready for this?!

X E N E C S L E N N U T

…Yeah, this sounds more like a cool name (Zenecselnut?) than the original clue I was going for. Oh well. A million and nine internets to the 1st commenter to decode the message! (And no, “Zenecselnut” is NOT related to the puzzle in any way.)

Updates, as demanded by the fanbase!

So the majority of our two-person fan base has demanded an update. Well, we’re still working on the whole C++ thing (Read: College is kicking me in the pants). BUT! I will allow myself to divulge in a… sort of a brainteaser.

We’re in the very earliest stages of designing our greatest game yet. It’s a fighting game based off of another fighting game (go figure) and it has LOADS AND LOADS OF CHARACTERS!
…Okay, maybe not THAT many characters.

I’m pretty sure you can guess what we’re going for here.

Regarding all those Game Maker games…

If you’ve been keeping track of this blog (I’m looking at you, Bubba) then you’ll know that we have a lot of never-to-be-realized projects on this blog.

FEAR NOT!

Because I plan on making most of those canceled games in C++, such as Flamegame, Starlight City, and Super Paint Tanks. If I ever finish Minecraft Cart, it’ll be one of our occasional pieces of Freeware (Unless Mojang decides to sponsor us for some impossible reason).

Conceptual Development

SOPA? PIPA? What ARE you talking about?

Ignorance aside, I haven’t updated the blog in awhile, so I just wanted to mention that progress towards our first REAL game is going… well, its going as good as we can get it. C++ class is a major pain (Newbie teacher, I think), but concept art, gameplay ideas, and even the “soundtrack” are coming together smoothly.

How long until 2013, when I can get my programming degree?

The In-Between

SO, the whole copyrighting thing seems to have come to a screeching halt. That’s because it has.

Between the Holly-Days for everyone as well as other things for specific members of our group/company/posse, we’ve all been rather swamped. Hopefully things will pick up again after the New Year.

Speaking of which, you’ll (probably) be glad to know that I DESTROYED everyone else’s final projects in my programming class. (That’s not saying too much, though, because a few of the games [not pointing at anybody] were kind of… y’know… garbage.)

Beginning of the End Part 2

The somewhat painful process of Copyrighting “Absolute Zero Industries” has begun… I’ve begun by removing all the old videos off the A.Z.I Youtube page (which is a shame, because the majority of modern AZI came from Roblox’s “Havok Studios”). Hey, the less lawsuits we could possibly have to deal with, the better.

You’ll also notice that all the tabs have gone AWOL. They had a bunch of outdated links and needed to be cleaned up anyways.

Thing is, I want to keep a blog of some form around once the www.azigames.com domain has been updated and fleshed out. Why? Because I can’t keep my mouth shut.

The Begining of the End (Sorta)

…and $50 later, www.azigames.com is an official domain name! Yes. REALLY.

Absolute Zero Industries is probably going to make some HUGE changes in plans now that we’ve gone “official”. The AZI Show is basically cancelled and Roblox: Total Havok may have to go off-air as well. The reason?

In about two years, Absolute Zero Industries is aiming to be SELLING games on Steam!

Yes. You just read that. This is happening. I can’t believe it either.

Halloween? Say What?

Whaddya mean it’s already Halloween?!

I don’t have any Halloween comics (Help me Chicago) but I do have a status report, and that status report is that the programming language Python… well, I don’t like it.

In other news, Chicago is way better at shooting games than I am!

(Man, this update is pathetic…)
